I’m being completely serious. Here’s the sentences I managed to type out while still in dreamland:
“Everything just looks like something else, for instance Connie’s hard work culminated in my getting a front door from other illustrators. They change every day (which also depreciates the school’s value) a bit yesterday, so it’s just convincing that Bead Malker is so hard to use.”
Handcrafted Ornate Athame Pendant Necklace with Goldsheen Obsidian (I’m a bit in love with this one..) Beautiful necklace made from large ornate...

A is Athame, the knife that we use.
B is for Beltaine, when partners we choose.
C is for Circle where we...
I just need somewhere to vent. I’ve been seeing so many people thinking that it’s cool to be “Satanists” or just throw pentagrams all over...
44 Days of Witchery: DAY 7
Air element!
Ember
I’ve been somewhat slacking off (due to my hectic schedule as of late,) So here is are my Day 5 and 6 of 44 Days of Witchery combined in one:
A favorite goddess: The Norse goddess Skadi.
A favorite god: The Norse god Thor.
(I don’t know why I’m feeling so Nordic today) :3
I will elaborate more (by posting more information associated with them) when I get the chance… Which should be in a few days so don’t forget to check back!
In love and light,
Ember Redwolf
Lily,
It seems that what you’re dealing with is extremely serious, and I really don’t feel good having you deal with it on your own. Luckily, magick can be done from a distance… If it is at all possible, please send me your full name, as well as your sister’s and Sarah’s (if you know it), because I’d like for me and my coven to do a protection spell for you. If you don’t feel comfortable, I can use what I already know of your names, but it will be more accurate if I have your whole name. (My email is emberredwolf@aim.com.)
Also, since you are not yet experienced enough to use magick on the offensive in such situations, I have two suggestions for you. The best thing to do in my opinion would be cast a circle, (as strong as you possibly can) and invoke either your patron god or goddess or whatever protection diety you’d like. (My patron goddess is Artemis/Dianna, so she’s already a protection goddess.) Once you’ve done that, do this spell:
http://www.isisbooks.com/free-protection-spell.asp
Also, if you need immediate and powerful protection from black magick, apparently invoking the Tibetan protector spirit Dorje Shugden is one of the best ways to do so. In order to invoke him, you chant
OM BENZA WIKI BITANA SOHA
(As many times as you want, and it doesn’t matter if you mess up the pronunciation.)
Personally though, if I EVER feel that I am ever under attack, or unsafe, from anything at all, I invoke the archangels. (Mostly because of my affinity with angels.) In order to do this, I take my hands, and put them together, as if praying, and then interlock my fingers. (Like the gesture you make when you’re pleading with someone.) Then I stick out my thumb and pointer fingers (like a double gun), which makes a diamond with your thumbs and fingers when you look down at it. Then I position my fingers so they’re directly above my heart, in the center of my chest, and my thumbs so they are directly below, as if my fingers are drawing energy and/or forming a protective cage around my heart. Then I say:
“Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel,
Surround me with your protective, loving light.
Defend me from all that wish to do me harm,
Both physical and nonphysical;
Human and otherwise.”
Obviously, thank them afterward… But that always works.
Whatever you do, DO NOT try to fight her/defend yourself from her with your own power. Always ask for help/protection from either the God or the Goddess, or your patron god or so forth. It will be STRONGER that way. If you rely only on your own strength, it will falter.
In love and light,
Ember Redwolf
What is your witchy background?
Well out of the five in our coven, I’m most likely the newest at Wicca with only being Wiccan for about 3 or 4 years as I was brought up christian. There was a while where I basically just thought it was weird that I was “christian” when I didn’t believe there was only one god. That was the day that I just started rescearching different religions when I finally came across Wicca. Something about it just stuck with me so, in turn, I stuck with it. Then soon after that I met Raven, Ash and Ember who were looking for more people to be in their coven. I, of course, agreed and they actually took me under their wings and started helping me get up to speed with information since they’d been practicing for many years longer than I had.
And now, about 2 years after joining them, here I am helping cast circles, perform rituals and spells, standing in for either air or earth depending on if Artemis or Raven happens to be with us that day.
Well that’s about it and I shall(hopefully) be posting daily for the 44 days.
Merry meet, merry part and merry meet again,
~Astrea
44 Days of Witchery: Day 4
Directly after posting day 3, since I missed yesterday.
Day 4 is a picture of nature (water element). I chose the image of a waterfall, because they truly are awe-inspiring. They’re really beautiful, but at the same time, they can be mighty and unyielding, and dangerous… Much like my element of fire :3
44 Days of Witchery: DAY 3
I’m sorry I didn’t get to post yesterday!
Day 3 says: Witchy tools: Athame.
My athame is actually at my apartment in Philadelphia, and it’s really uneventful, so instead I’m going to post a picture of an athame I’d like. :)
It’s no trouble at all. And please do keep me updated. Also, don’t doubt your magick. If you have doubts, it will most likely falter. KNOW that you are strong enough. Spirit will lend it’s power to be sure that she is bound, especially since you are working for good.
In love and light,
Ember Redwolf
Hello again! It’s Ember :3
I’m here for Day 2 of 44 Days of Witchery! Which is….. A myth or story from folklore!
I must say, it took me a while to decide what exactly I wanted to post for this one. I’m really big on mythology and that, so it was a bit of a challenge to narrow it down to one. However, the story that I’m about to relay isn’t quite folklore, as far as I know. Though it is quite folkloresque.
I still have absolutely no idea where I heard this story, it’s just always stuck with me… (After doing a little research on Google, I found out that apparently it’s a short story called “Colorful Shades of Grey” by Jennie Gratton, and was featured in Chicken Soup for the Teenage soul III.) I have absolutely no recollection of EVER reading any of the “Chicken Soup” books, so I’m still unsure, but either way, here it is.)
Excerpt from “Colorful Shades of Grey”:
“Moths are the most beautiful animals in the animal kingdom. At one time they were more colorful than the butterflies. They have always been helpful, kind, and generous creatures. One day the angels up in heaven were crying. They were sad because it was cloudy and they couldn’t look down upon the people on earth. Their tears fell down to the earth as rain. The sweet little moths hated to see everyone so sad. They decided to make a rainbow. The moths figured that if they asked their cousins, the butterflies, to help, they could all give up just a little bit of their colors and they could make a beautiful rainbow.
One of the littlest moths flew to ask the queen of the butterflies for help. The butterflies were too vain and selfish to give up any of their colors for neither the people nor the angels. So, the moths decided to try to make the rainbow themselves. They beat their wings very hard and the powder on them formed little clouds that the winds smoothed over like glass. Unfortunately, the rainbow wasn’t big enough so the moths kept giving a little more and a little more until the rainbow stretched all the way across the sky. They had given away all their color except brown, which didn’t fit into their beautiful rainbow.
Now the once colorful moths were plain and brown. The angels up in heaven saw the rainbow, and became joyous. They smiled and the warmth of their smiles shown down on the earth as sunshine. The warm sunshine made the people on earth happy and they smiled, too. Now every time it rains the baby moths, who still have their colors, spread them across the sky to make more rainbows.”
You know you love it, too. It’s really a very touching story… I’ve loved moths ever since.
In love and light,
Ember Redwolf
Lily, thank you for your question.
I have known many a witch who thought they could … outsmart karma. (In fact, I remember one such man very clearly, saying “Karma is for those who don’t know how to duck.”)
I want to be clear on this: One CANNOT negate the Law of Three.
This isn’t to say that what your friend has done is not possible. It’s just that the Law of Three is a cosmic law that is controlled by the universe itself. Kind of like gravity. What goes up, must come down. Think of your friend’s pouch as a hot air balloon. It may seem like she’s defying gravity for the time being, but it will inevitably catch up to her.
It sounds to me like your friend is what most would call a “natural witch”. (though I sort of don’t agree with the use of this term to some extent, but it is more or less those who are predisposed to working with magick and the like.) Unfortunately, she is wandering down a very dark path. It may seem to her that she’s getting all that she wants, but it WILL come back to hurt her in the end, even if it’s not in this life.
It says a lot about your nature that you would reach out and try to get help for your friend, even when she doesn’t want it for herself, and I commend you for that. The best thing that I know of to do for her would be a binding spell. Some binding spells are intended to bind a person’s powers or remove them from your life, but the words can easily be tweaked to focus chiefly on binding her from doing harm. I don’t have my book of shadows on me currently, but I did find two useful spells online. If you’d like, I can give you my own binding spell as soon as I get my book back.

What is your witchy background?
I started practicing Wicca as a solitary witch a little more than 10 years ago. My mother before me was Wiccan, unbeknownst to me, and was forced to stop when she met my father.
I started really young, but even before that I always saw/communicated with spirits. Not to mention, strong psychic ability also runs down the female side of the family.
